The Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 improves on an already popular design with better sound quality and a more comfortable fit. They're still a niche product, but an excellent one for outdoor workouts.
The biggest advantage of the OpenRun Pro 2 isn't audio quality. It's awareness. Because the headphones leave your ears open, you can still hear traffic, conversations, and your surroundings while listening to music.
Compared to earlier models, bass response has improved noticeably, making music sound fuller without sacrificing the open-ear experience. They're lightweight, secure during exercise, and comfortable enough to wear for long runs or bike rides.
They won't replace traditional headphones for immersive listening, but that's not their purpose. If you spend a lot of time outdoors and want to stay aware of your surroundings, the OpenRun Pro 2 is one of the best options available.
