Amazon Basics 7-in-1 USB-C Hub
Affordable and functional, but inconsistent performance and average build quality keep this USB-C hub from standing out in an increasingly competitive market.
The Amazon Basics USB-C Hub offers the ports most people need, including HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, and SD card support. For basic tasks, it generally gets the job done.
The problem is consistency. HDMI output can occasionally be unreliable, transfer speeds aren't particularly impressive, and the plastic construction feels inexpensive compared to similarly priced alternatives from Anker or UGREEN.
It isn't a terrible accessory, but it's also not one that inspires much confidence for everyday use. Spending a little more gets noticeably better reliability and build quality.
