The budget earbuds to beat.
Budget earbuds usually reveal their price the moment the music starts: a boomy low end, brittle treble, and a general sense of a corner cut. The Vantage Buds do not. They sound balanced and composed, with a maturity of tuning that has no business appearing at this price.
The essentials are all handled well. Multipoint pairing is dependable, the fit stays comfortable across long listening sessions, and battery life clears a full day with the case. Active noise cancellation is included and useful, if not quite at the level of the premium set.
At this price, the small omissions — no wireless charging, merely-good ANC — are easy to forgive. What you get is a pair of earbuds that sound like they should cost far more, which is the highest compliment a budget product can earn.
